To plan for organizing and , resource allocating to manage influencing factors  on hazards hazards, it is necessary to apply scientific and practical procedures to deal with uncertain nature of natural hazards. It is also necessary to specify training, research, equipment developments, logistics, structural and operational strategies in order to manage four main stages of hazards (prevention, preparedness, response and reconstruction).

In this regard, Center of Excellence for Risk Management and Natural Hazards was established in 2019 with the cooperation of Faculty of Agricultural Engineering, department Natural Resources and Civil Engineering of Isfahan University of Technology, Faculty of Engineering and Technology of Tehran University and Faculty of Engineering of Mazandaran University in Iran.
